1. Eligibility Criteria:
Master’s Degree: Candidates must have a Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD candidates).
M.Phil. Degree: Candidates with an M.Phil. degree are also eligible.
UGC-NET/JRF/SET: Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/teacher fellowship holders are exempted from the written test.
2. Admission Process:
Application: Candidates need to apply online through the official website of Calcutta University.
Entrance Test: Those who do not have UGC-NET/JRF/SET/GATE qualifications need to appear for a written test conducted by the university.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates based on the written test or NET/JRF qualification will be called for an interview.
